My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Manhunter.” Here’s an interesting film and, you don’t remember, but “Manhunter” first brought the character “Dr. Hannibal ‘The Cannibal’ Lecter” to the big screen (although filmmaker Michael Mann had the name spelled differently). “Manhunter” is the original film from the original book that created “Lecter,” who would be made much more famous by Anthony Hopkins in “The Silence of the Lambs.” Still, while “Manhunter” can’t compare to the Oscar-winning effort of the later film, it is still watchable.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
