Try this flick … “The Meg.” Well, try “The Meg” only if you want to watch a crappy shark flick that is filled with stereotypes and copying other shark movies. “The Meg” stinks, but it does have a couple of bright spots – the brightest being an Asian actor who stands out in this unremarkable cast. However, the worst you’ll find in “The Meg” is that the talentless Rainn Wilson plays a key role and his work makes sure this one sinks further than the bottom-of-the-Pacific where you’ll find one of the submarines in the story. “The Meg” is available everywhere, so you shouldn’t have to pay to see it. No one should have to pay to see this crap.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
