My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Midnight Run.” Here’s a film where the best actor is the one who frustrates you the most. In “Midnight Run,” which is a film about a bounty hunter bringing a bail bond jumper back to jail, the jumper has a personality so frustrating that you begin to hate him. “Midnight Run” stars Robert De Niro as the bounty hunter and Charles Grodin as his prisoner … well, De Niro basically becomes Grodin’s prisoner of frustration! “Midnight Run” has a solid supporting cast, headlined by a great performance by the late Dennis Farina, and is totally worth watching even if you don’t like the sound of it.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
