My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Monster-in-Law.” Here’s how I open my review: “I’m not much of a fan of either Jane Fonda or Jennifer Lopez, but it is possible to like a film with a couple of headliners that you might usually rate as ‘so-so’ or ‘who cares?’” That’s right, I really like “Monster-in-Law” and it is a great spotlight film for Fonda. While Lopez is good, Fonda is great and their scenes together are memorable. So, no matter your opinion of the older actor who once betrayed her country or the overrated younger actor, check it out. “Monster-in-Law” is a good one.
