My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Office Space.” It took a couple of viewings for me to gain a real appreciation for the cult classic “Office Space.” It shouldn’t have, since “Office Space” is satire and criticism leveled at the mind-numbing and numb-nutted corporate world that has infected the U.S. for far too long. However, as a film, “Office Space” is quirky and doesn’t appeal to everyone. However, if you don’t have a favorable opinion, then I urge you to give it another try. “Office Space” is funny … and actually at times, poignant. Oh, and the Spanish title of the film (see the poster at right) loosely translates to “Crap Job.”
