My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Operation Petticoat.” Here’s a great comedy-drama set during World War II with the legendary Cary Grant and near-legend Tony Curtis as the headliners. In “Operation Petticoat,” Grant is the skipper of a submarine that has its share of bad luck – until Curtis comes along with his devil-may-care attitude. “Operation Petticoat” is certainly “family friendly” as it was released in 1959, but it’s really fun and watchable even today. You’ll find “Operation Petticoat” at times on the cable grid, so make sure to check it out.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
