My movie reviews A-Z: Today … ‘Parenthood’

My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Parenthood.” Here is director Ron Howard’s telling of a (then) modern American family and all its foibles and quirks. “Parenthood” is an excellent motion picture with a big cast of excellent actors headlined by Steve Martin, Mary Steenburgen and Diane Wiest, who was nominated for an Oscar for her work in it. However, “Parenthood” is certainly nowhere near being saccharine in portraying a “movie family” that you’ll find someone which whom you can relate. “Parenthood” has a happy, but not completely idyllic ending and it is one of Ron’s better efforts.

I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
