It’s the Christmas season and so today I’m continuing my annual daily suggestion of a movie for Christmas. Forget “It’s a Wonderful Life” or “Miracle on 34th Street” … let’s talk great Christmas films. Today, it’s “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” Here’s the kingpin. THE Christmas film. “Christmas Vacation” now defines Christmas movies and it is quoted more than any other (although not Christmas-type quotes). “Christmas Vacation” is all over the cable grid and you’lll have no trouble finding it.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
