My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Sneakers.” Here’s Robert Redford’s third-best espionage movie behind “Three Days of the Condor” (the ultimate spy thriller) and “Spy Game.” “Sneakers” is about a modern-day private investigation unit that gets channeled into a plot that’s way over its head. Not only that, Redford’s lifetime secret is exposed and “Sneakers” makes you actually think about a bunch of things. “Sneakers” also has one of Dan Aykroyd’s excellent supporting roles (he’s known better for much worse). So, check out “Sneakers.” You might have missed it.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
