My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Tremors.” Here’s a cheesy sci-fi flick that grows on you. The action isn’t great (but it works) and the creature is really that scary, but you’ll still watch “Tremors” because it is … well, kitschy in the sci-fi world. “Tremors” is the story of a bunch of people in an isolated town in the desert Southwest who get trapped on roofs because of creatures that move through the earth and have a taste for, well, anything that gives off a “tremor” on the surface. “Tremors” is available just about everywhere and it co-stars Kevin Bacon. You can’t go wrong with this one … even though it stinks.
