My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Wanderers.” Here is one of two gang movies from 1979 and “The Wanderers” is the best of the two (I’ll be posting the other in two days or so) and it’s the story of a gang of teenagers battling their way through life in the early 1960s. “The Wanderers” is a layered, well-acted film that has solid action. It takes an interesting, but not cheap, look at teens, gangs and a little bit of society of the time. You simply cannot go wrong watching “The Wanderers” again. If you haven’t seen it, see it soonest. You won’t be disappointed.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
