My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Weekend at Bernie’s.” Well, here’s the slapstick comedy that features a … uh, corpse. “Weekend at Bernie’s” pokes fun at a bunch of people and just has fun with itself. Although half of the film is just one joke, filmmakers pulled it off well and “Weekend at Bernie’s” never fails to entertain. It’s not a great film, or a good one, but it is a whole lot of fun and you can’t say that about all comedies, much less one-joke comedies.
