My movie reviews: ‘Rollerball’ is great, but its remake stinks

Click here to read my movie suggestion for today and it is … a comparison of the original “Rollerball” and the remake. Actually, there is no comparison. You have “Rollerball” and then a piece of garbage in a “reboot” mode. Wow. If you ever believe Hollywood can never get worse than the worst film you ever saw, then watch the remake of “Rollerball.” It is bad. Bad. Bad, bad, bad. It’s a shame, too, since director John McTiernan, would ultimately serve time in a federal prison (but not deservedly so for making this movie; bad movies are not yet a federal crime), has done great work and the plot of the film is great. Well, the reboot of “Rollerball” stinks. That’s about the sum of it.

So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
