My movie suggestion today is … is to continue your summer viewing of watchable, fun films with “Can’t Buy Me Love.” It’s the story of a geek in high school who “buys” the affection of the most popular girl (well, rents it for a month) in an effort to become “cool” himself. Patrick Dempsey stars in “Can’t Buy Me Love” and the co-star is the late Amanda Peterson, who, unlike so many late 20s actors portray high schoolers, was 15 at the time of filming. “Can’t Buy Me Love” has its moments and you’ll enjoy them all. So, get out there and find “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
