My movie suggestion today is … to watch 2015’s “Spy” with Melissa McCarthy. Here’s a really neat modern action-spy thriller in the tradition of “007” (only with a whole bunch of F-bombs). In “Spy,” Melissa kicks serious ass and is absolutely as watchable as any “James Bond” from that iconic franchise. Will her “Susan Cooper” character have the longevity of Mr. Bond? Doubtful, although a sequel to “Spy” won’t be out of the question – and I’m surprised one hasn’t already been announced. So, check out “Spy.” You won’t be disappointed and the fight scene on a rooftop where Melissa … well, find out for yourself.
