Uh, oh! Walt Disney World has shut down its new Skyliner transportation system! I got the shot May 19, 2019, when we arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the system, with made its debut just over a week ago, had a problem and stranded passengers for hours over the past weekend (I’m posting this on Oct. 7, 2019. One report was that gondolas collided and rescue teams were called in. As usual, WDW officials aren’t saying much (well, saying nothing) about this negative event and it is unknown today when the Skyliner will reopen.
