My movie suggestion today is … to watch Adam Sandler in “Happy Gilmore.” As the 2019 professional golf season has wound down, you can always check out one of the best golf comedies ever and Sandler does a great job. “Happy Gilmore” doesn’t have some of the endearing moments that other of his films offer audiences, but it is a lot of fun. “Happy Gilmore” both mocks and praises golf as a sport. “Happy Gilmore” also tries to show that you don’t have to be a stuck-up snob to enjoy golf. Heck, if you like Sandler, you’ll like “Happy Gilmore.” If you like golf, you’ll enjoy “Happy Gilmore.” If you like both … well, then that’s the best of both worlds.
