My movie suggestion today is … to watch “Smokey and the Bandit.” We’ll be celebrating the 43rd anniversary of “The Bandit” in 2020, but you don’t have to wait to watch this one. Burt Reynolds is the headliner who became an almost instant icon with “Smokey and the Bandit” in 1977. It’s a wonderful film and you’ll really enjoy “The Great One” – Jackie Gleason – as the sheriff in chase of an outlaw. “Smokey and the Bandit” has it all – cars, Burt, fun, Burt and comedy. Don’t worry, you don’t have to think too much when watching “Smokey and the Bandit.” However, it is a totally watchable, fun film that will leave a smile on your face.
