My movie suggestion today is … to watch (while holding your nose) … “Johnny Be Good.” Today, Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, begins this year’s college football playoffs. However, “Johnny Be Good,” while a movie about the recruitment of a high school star, stinks. Still, you should check it out. “Johnny Be Good” has a few bright sparks of comedy and a couple of endearing scenes, but, for the most part, you’ll need an air-sickness bag while watching it. So, go find “Johnny Be Good” … at least until a real football game kicks off.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
