A moon, a star (or is it a planet?) … and the night sky is enlivened

I just can’t resist photographing the sky. From sunrises to sunsets, there’s beauty almost every day. As nighttime approached on Jan. 27, 2020, I got this shot of the setting moon and a star – maybe it’s the planet Venus? – as I completed an errand near our home here in Naples, Fla. I know the photo doesn’t do the scene justice, but it is an iPhone camera and not my Nikon DSLR. (Remember: Click on the image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
