Try this flick … “Thunderball.” Here’s the first 007 with really BIG action. “Thunderball’s” not one with some gunfire-and-gadgets (such as “Goldfinger”) and it doesn’t rely mostly on tradecraft and espionage (such as “Dr. No”). So, “Thunderball” blasts across the big screen with big-time action … culminating with a huge underwater showdown between the good guys and bad guys. “Thunderball” was the biggest of the early big-time “James Bond” flicks and you’ll enjoy it today as much as you did nearly 55 years ago … or the dozen or so times since on video. So, revist “Thunderball!”
