Try this flick … “Time After Time.” Here’s a great ’70s flick that incorporates time travel with H.G. Wells and Jack the Ripper! “Time After Time” is the story of Wells having invented a time machine 1893. Unknown to him, a friend is “Jack the Ripper” of the Whitechapel murders and the villain uses it to travel to modern-day San Francisco (well, 1979 in the movie … instead of the defecation-spattered city he’d find today … although that might make a “reboot” very interesting for “Time After Time” …). Well, the time machine returns to Wells, who uses it to follow the killer in to the future. “Time After Time” isn’t a great film, but it is clever (seeing a 19th century man order in McDonald’s is interesting) and more than worth your time.
