Try this flick … “The Glass Bottom Boat.” Here’s a great Doris Day romantic comedy that you just shouldn’t miss (or, just watch it again). “The Glass Bottom Boat” is a spoof on the spy movies that became a “thing” in the 1960s and is also part of the then-burgeoning technological age of space – and Roombas! “The Glass Bottom Boat” is about Doris, who works for Rod Taylor, and her misadventures when she’s unfairly seen as a Russian spy on her boss, who has developed a secret “equation” that’s part of national security in the space age. “The Glass Bottom Boat” is just a fun, light romp with a bunch of ’60s and ’70s stars of TV and B-movies.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to my review, which I just expanded.
