Try this flick … ‘Chariots of Fire’ has a glacial pace, but a flawless motion picture

Try this flick … “Chariots of Fire.” Here is a flawless film that deservedly earned accolades and four Oscars. While a story about athletes, the pace of “Chariots of Fire” is … well, nothing short of glacial. It is a wonderful British film (read: slow-paced) just as you’ll find with the somewhat nearly as good “Local Hero.” “Chariots of Fire” is the story of two men who are competitors, but not really; are opposites, but not really; and ultimately both Olympic champions and heroic figures in real life. “Chariots of Fire” is simply easy, but slow-paced to watch and you’ll never be disappointed with it.

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
