Try this flick … “Knives Out.” Well, I should write, “don’t try this flick.” Here’s an example of Hollywood going ga-ga not over a Lady, but for a director who can’t direct. Rian Johnson wrote and directed “Knives Out” and it is complete waste of the talent of Jamie Lee Curtis, although you’ll get Daniel Craig with his only acting expression – looking like he’s having a bowel movement – but that passes as good work by an actor in this one. Actually, Craig is solid in “Knives Out” and gets more than a passing grade, but Johnson stinks as director in this one and the talk of what’s next for him in the whodunit film world should fill everyone with dread. Simply put: “Knives Out” is a snoozer.
