Try this flick … “Kelly’s Heroes” with Clint Eastwood, Don Rickles and Donald Sutherland. OMG! Today, June 23, 2020, is the 50th anniversary of the premiere of “Kelly’s Heroes.” It is one of my all-time favorite movies despite not being great American cinema. “Kelly’s Heroes” is a story in which soldiers in World War II use the cover of combat to steal millions in gold from the Nazis. “Kelly’s Heroes” has some great comedic moments with Sutherland as WII’s only hippie in charge of a commune of Sherman tanks and their crews. Ah well, quite a milestone for “Kelly Heroes” today!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
