Try this flick … “Telefon.” Here’s a Charles Bronson espionage thriller that’s worth your time, even though “Telefon” looks a bit ’70s-cheesy with bad cinematography. “Telefon” is the story of Russia having planted brainwashed agents in the U.S. and they’re now being activated for sabotage by a disaffected KGB agent. Enter Bronson as Russia’s hero-to-be and the antidote to the rouge agent. “Telefon’s” best part is that the plot is creative and works. You won’t always enjoy what looks like a TV-movie production, but “Telefon” isn’t bad for being 42+ years old.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
