Try this flick … ‘Tony Rome’ is dated at 50+ years old, but still watchable

Try this flick … “Tony Rome.” Here’s a Frank Sinatra private-eye movie from the ’60s that’s still somewhat fun to watch. “Tony Rome” is the title character played by Sinatra and it tries to be crime noir, but I’d call it “noir light.” Unlike the original “Ocean’s 11” in which the caper with Sinatra is pretty far-fetched, “Tony Rome” is much more detailed and the plot layered. You’ll also know “Tony Rome” is from more than 50 years ago because of the sexism and a few comments by characters other than Sinatra that are best described as racist. Even so, check out “Tony Rome” … Frank does an OK job.

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
