Try this flick … “The Love Boat.” OK, so I’m writing about the kitschy TV series and not a movie (and there was a TV movie before the series). However, “The Love Boat” is my all-time favorite TV show and I like it through-and-through for two reasons: One, the excellent cast of newcomers in entertainment to those fading stars looking for one last glare of the spotlight; and two, the fact that each show winds up nicely and everyone is happy. Both make “The Love Boat” endearing and you’ll have to read my review to catch some great “love” pairings – such as Billy Crystal as the “Kissing Bandit” and planting one on “Miss Jane” from “The Beverly Hillbillies!”
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
