Try this flick … the original “Ocean’s 11.” Although the reboot and one of its two sequels are really good, you must watch the original “Ocean’s 11” to have the proper appreciation for all the films. “Ocean’s 11” (the original uses numerals; the reboot and its two sequels spells out the number) is a big caper film, but, in reality, it was a vehicle for Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and the rest of Hollywood’s “Rat Pack” to have a bunch of fun making a caper film. “Ocean’s 11” isn’t believable, but you’ll also get Peter Lawford, Cesar Romero, Angie Dickinson, Shirley MacLaine, and even old-time Hollywood stars Akim Tamiroff and George Raft.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
