I’m not picking on one candidate in this summer’s political climate, but I would have to say that I don’t enjoy seeing the parking lot of the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library being used for political means. Of course, candidates work diligently to get their name and message to voters, but parking a vehicle with a large billboard outside the site of an early voting station isn’t great. Yes, I know the candidate (whom I carefully made sure you can’t identify from this photo) is keeping within the rules of distance to the entrance of the polling station, but I still believe it shouldn’t be allowed. I got this shot on the morning of Aug. 9, 2020, near our home here in Naples, Fla. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
