Try this flick … “WarGames.” In the 1980s, Matthew Broderick was the hero to a new generation. First, in “WarGames,” he nearly started nuclear Armageddon and then three years later encouraged all youngsters to skip school in the iconic and now-legendary “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” Well, “WarGames” was Broderick’s second film and is nearly as good as his more-famous other film and is truly much better than just a movie where the “kids” outsmart the adults. “WarGames” is the story of a teenager who tries to play a computer game over the phone and nearly starts World War III. “WarGames” is worth your time again (or again and again) because it is well-acted and well-written.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
