Try this flick … “Max Dugan Returns.” Here’s a little-remembered gem with a totally A-list cast and an even more A-list writer. “Max Dugan Returns” co-stars Jason Robards and Marsha Mason and is the big-screen debut of Matthew Broderick — plus a nice supporting turn from Donald Sutherland. Best of all, it was written by Neil Simon (and it doesn’t get any better than that). “Max Dugan Returns” is the story of a wayward father finding his adult daughter after ripping off crooks in Las Vegas. He then showers them with his attention, but mostly his money. However, it all comes down to emotion and you don’t want to miss “Max Dugan Returns.”
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
