Try this flick … ‘The Gumball Rally’ … COVID brings out the best in drivers and cars!

Try this flick … “The Gumball Rally.” Here’s THE movie about the “Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash.” It’s the unofficial cross-country race that has seen its record broken several times in this COVID age with fewer vehicles on our nation’s highways. “The Gumball Rally,” just as the real thing, is a race from New York City to the shore of California. Although the movie’s winning racer came in at about 31 hours, the current and unofficial time is now 25 hours and 39 minutes. But, about the film … you’ll enjoy it as much as the Burt Reynolds “Cannonball” films (the first is watchable; the second is execrable), but “The Gumball Rally” is a far-superior motion picture to Burt’s poser flicks. So, go find “The Gumball Rally” … you’ll truly enjoy it again (and again and …)!

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
