Try this flick … with a look at three authors and their books-to-movies. The authors are Frederick Forsyth, Ken Follett and Jack Higgins. All have written great novels and have been best-selling authors for years. However, as you would expect, not all their efforts have translated well to the big screen. And, for one, only one of his novels has been made into a motion picture – the rest became TV series or TV flicks. In just one example, Forsyth has both the best and the worst – one of his novels became the gold standard for being translated to the big screen while another is just pure crap. Ah, so goes it with Hollywood.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
