Try this flick … “Blood Diamond.” After posting about a couple of stinkers, I thought I’d go back to recommending a sensational motion picture. In this case: “Blood Diamond” … and it is simply in the top-tier of cinema. “Blood Diamond” is the story of a “conflict” diamond and how it entangled several lives. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Connelly and Djimon Honsou and all three deserved Oscars, even though only DiCaprio was the only one nominated for one of the five for the film. “Blood Diamond” is violent; it is dramatic at every turn; and it is totally watchable … but you’ll have to buckle your seatbelt for the ride!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
