Try this flick … “The Hunter.” Here’s a movie that’s yet another example of how a big star can be really, really bad. “The Hunter,” in which McQueen plays a bounty hunter with a heart of gold (yeah, right, even though based on a real life person), has all the earmarks of a made-for-TV production; it has bad work by Steve (it would be his final film); and its director did even better than “The Hunter” in one TV effort. So, if you like McQueen, you’ll check it out. If you don’t, the don’t bother. “The Hunter” is pretty bad.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
