Today, I’m continuing to re-post a favorite photo from Walt Disney World … and it’s up in the sky. The original caption: “Remember to look up while you are at Walt Disney World. I got of this shot of the big balloon you see hovering above Disney Springs by looking up (pretty difficult to miss, in any case). It is called Characters in Flight and is a ride that is billed as “the world’s largest tethered helium balloon.” I was aboard the transportation vessel riding to Disney Springs from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside when I got this shot on Aug. 18, 2016, during our multi-day visit to Walt Disney World.” As we won’t be back at Walt Disney World for some time – between the coronavirus alert and the fact that our annual passes expired and we haven’t renewed.
