Try this flick … ‘Commando’ is your film if you like to see Schwarzenegger mow ’em down

Try this flick … “Commando.” If you wanna see Arnold Schwarzenegger kill a whole bunch of people, then you’ll be hard-pressed to top “Commando.” In what little passes for a plot, Arnie’s daughter gets kidnapped so he’ll help the bad guys. Well, that’s all you need to know. From there, he starts killing and just doesn’t stop (he even uses garden tools in one scene). The lone shining light in “Commando” is the attempt by Rae Dawn Chong to elevate the film past what it is: A vehicle for Arnie to kill … just about everyone. “Commando” is easy to find and easy to watch. You won’t have to think about the plot and the violence is almost comic and Arnie spews off one-liners in “Commando” as he so often does in his films while he’s killing bad guys.

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
