Try this flick … “A Bridge Too Far.” Here’s one of those big-cast, big-screen war movies that you shouldn’t miss. Even with more than two hours running time, “A Bridge Too Far” offers far too little time on screen for every cast member, except possibly for Sean Connery. Still, all the actors do a good job and you’ll find something to like in this story about the somewhat failed plan called “Operation Market Garden” in Holland near the end of World War II. “A Bridge Too Far” takes its time and you won’t find any forced pace in it – except for some of the soldiers on screen! “A Bridge Too Far” is easy to find, so … watch it!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
