Try this flick … “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” We’re at the finish line of the Christmas season marathons of holiday movies and today I’m recommending (as if I have to) that you watch “Christmas Vacation.” It’s from the National Lampoon folks and it is simply the best Christmas movie ever … forget those black-and-white classics or even the more modern (but a period piece) “A Christmas Story.” “Christmas Vacation” has it all … comedy, Christmas, comedy, Christmas and … Chevy Chase! Here’s the story of a family Christmas gone wrong that really goes right. Everything is pitch-perfect in “Christmas Vacation” and I’m sure you’ve already watched it more than once!
So, today … MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! Come back to this blog tomorrow for an overall look at films about Christmas.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
