Watch It! So, what to recommend today? I’m going to say … “Big Fat Liar.” Here’s a pre-teen flick that anyone can enjoy. I’m no fan of the “kids-know-it-all” school of filmmaking, but “Big Fat Liar” manages to pull it off with a little verve and a touch of panache. Co-stars Frankie Muniz, Amanda Bynes and Paul Giamatti make this one come to life beyond the stereotypes. “Big Fat Liar” is the story of a boy who tells whoppers all the time and whose story idea for a school paper is stolen. “Big Fat Liar’s” story is taken by a movie director who is a total jerk and needs a new idea for a film. Much of the movie is then the “Big Fat Liar” getting even with jerk. Don’t turn your nose up at “Big Fat Liar.” You’ll enjoy it … so, Watch It!
