Watch It! I’ll dial back the cinema time machine to 1977 for “Rollercoaster.” Here’s a ’70s flick with 1970s TV-like production values, but it is still very watchable because of the story and the work by good guy George Segal and bad guy Timothy Bottoms. “Rollercoaster” is the story of a man who extorts amusement park owners by threatening to wreck their business … usually by causing rollercoasters to derail. He’s also a bit of a bomber. Enter Segal, who’s the voice of reason and creativity in tracking down the bomber. “Rollercoaster” has a bunch of dated scenes (like when Segal wins a carton of cigarettes at one amusement park), but you’ll enjoy it and you can … Watch It!
