HQ library branch gets a landscaping make-over … nice, clean and neat!

The front entrance to the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library has gotten a well-deserved and longtime-needed makeover! A big island of cactus plants is gone and replaced by a much smaller, much more diminutive island. The remaining tall tree was removed (others had been damaged in 2017 during Hurricane Irma) and grass installed. All-in-all, the re-do looks much more pleasing … as you can see from the “before” photo that I took in June 2019 – click here to see the original post. I’m sure someone will criticize the new look for not having more landscaping touches, but I like it. Also, it removes the cactus plants – which shouldn’t have been near the front in the first place due to feng shui guidelines. I took the main photo on Feb. 20, 2021.
