Watch It! Here’s another little-remembered, but really great film: “Target” with Gene Hackman and Matt Dillon. “Target” is the story of a former CIA man whose past has caught up with him. As “Target” opens, Hackman’s estranged from his son (Dillon) and is having marital problems with his wife headed for a solo vacation to Europe. Well, naturally, she gets kidnapped and father-son have to go to Europe to rescue her. But it’s not all easy to figure out. “Target” is the third film matching director Arthur Penn and Hackman (the first is the legendary “Bonnie and Clyde”) and you won’t be disappointed for a moment with this one … so, Watch It!
