Watch It! OK, so comedy doesn’t have to be puerile or disgusting (although it certainly helps), and, therefore, today I’m recommending “Real Genius.” Here’s an early Val Kilmer effort that is pretty much a cult fav today and “Real Genius” is just funny without all the R-rated issues that usually make a flick like this so special. “Real Genius” is the story of a teenager who goes off to college way, way too early. Also, he is thrust into the world of a former child prodigy who has come to grips with his … well, genius. “Real Genius” is fun, light-hearted and oh, so clever at its own level. It tries to be anti-war, but this is no message movie. It’s about college kids (and one who is pre-college) and is a total hoot to watch. So, find “Real Genius” and … Watch It!
