Watch It! OK, I’m headed into the “hacked-off” genre today with “Dogma.” By “hacked off,” I mean that the film hacks off just about everyone who is conservative and religious. I’m sure others were hacked-off, but conservatives and those of faith make up the largest segment of critics. Still, give “Dogma” a chance: It has an actors’ actors in the cast giving great performances throughout and is an incredible motion picture courtesy of writer/director/co-star Kevin Smith. “Dogma,” which is the story of a pair of fallen angels who have found a loophole to get back into heaven but, with their success, bring an end to life as we know it. Whew! Also, I have to mention the profanity, violence, profanity, vulgar sexual comments, profanity … ah, well, you get the picture. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are the headliners in “Dogma,” but Linda Fiorentino does the best job among great actors. Well, what are you waiting for? Watch It!
