See the sunset? See the smoke from the fire? I was driving near our home here in Naples, Fla., on the early-early evening of May 7, 2021, when I saw smoke on the horizon. I’m a longtime news reporter and have covered many brush fires (you can tell from the color of the smoke what kind of fire is out there). I even saw a brush truck on its way to the blaze. However, it was much further away once I got my bearings, but I did shoot this photo. The beautiful sunset is on the bottom left and the smoke is on the bottom right.
