Watch It! “Tower Heist” is a “heist” film and should have been much, much better. I always enjoy heist flicks, but “Tower Heist” manages to come up short in just about every department. It has comedy legend Eddie Murphy and brings a waste of his talent; it has an inadequate headliner in Ben Stiller; and it takes a clever idea and sinks it (watch the film and you’ll understand the pun). “Tower Heist” is about a group of employees out to get the richest man in the luxury tower where he lives – he’s a Bernie Madoff-type scammer and lost their pension money. The twist is how they manage to get one of his assets out of the building … and you’ll never guess the asset or how they get it out. So, even though “Tower Heist” stinks … Watch It!
