Watch It! If you are cynical or critical of corporate America, then check out “Head Office.” Here’s the story of a sleazy multinational company that hires a U.S. Senator’s son in order to gain his favor. However, “Head Office” is a much bigger indictment of corporate slime than you’d believe in a dark comedy. Although decades old, the film remains accurate today. The funniest part of “Head Office” is the “lessons” that the new guy is taught by his corporate mentor … such as lesson No. 79: ““When the tough get going, the weak get screwed.” Another moment of clarity is when the new guy points out that the company’s statement is a lie, the mentor tells him, “… but it’s our side of the story.” Judge Reinhold is the ostensible headliner in “Head Office,” but you’ll get great work from Danny DeVito, Jane Seymour and especially Eddie Albert as the vitriolic, nasty CEO. Watch It!
